Renovating Rudolph

Renovated by Paul Rudolph in the 1970’s, this maisonette is a palimpsest of its original neo-classical design and the innovative material and spatial ideas Rudolph introduced with the support of his forward-thinking client. The new renovation will restore parts of the original 1930’s building, parts of Rudolph’s renovation, and stitch in new elements inspired, in part, by Rudoph’s unrealized drawings.
